CN FUTURE LINKS PROGRAM



 CN FUTURE LINKS PROGRAM INTRODUCTION 


CN Future Links is a national junior golf development program spearheaded by the RCGA designed to forge a "link" between Canada's youth and golf to ensure the "Future of the Game" in Canada.  Future Links was launched in 1996 with the following objectives:

  • Bring MORE kids into the game
  • Make golf MORE accessible to juniors
  • Make golf MORE affordable for junior golfers
  • Provide a MORE systematic and organized approach to junior golf
  • Generate MORE awareness and interest in junior golf
  • Foster MORE co-operation between the golf bodies

Future Links is supported and assisted by all of Canada's provincial amateur golf associations, the CPGA, CLGA and the Canadian Tour.  Future Links receives financial support from corporate sponsors; CN, Ford Motor Company, and the Canadian Golf Industry Association.  Fully implemented, Future Links will consist of:

  • 5 progressive levels of instruction and skills testing
  • Clinics and camps
  • Guidebooks and support materials
  • The Kids Club Connection to provide free equipment for kids
  • The Golf Buddy program to encourage the mentoring of juniors
  • Elite training camps
  • Future Links golf courses for kids
  • Special promotions to raise interest in junior golf
  • Future Links Membership program

CN FUTURE LINKS
CN Future Links is Canada’s national junior golf program, designed to provide ‘best in class’ golf programming for junior golfers across the country.
CN Future Links junior golf programs help young golfers develop the technical skills, appropriate attitude and self-confidence to succeed on the course while teaching them positive life lessons to succeed off the course. Through these programs, young girls and boys learn integrity, honesty, sportsmanship and responsibility.
CN Future Links offers a full suite or programs for all golfers age 6-18, from first timers to those with a high level of experience and playing ability.
 
CN FUTURE LINKS PROGRAMS

                  
                                                  
Learn to Play is a new 7-level development program that allows you to learn, play and have fun with the game of golf as you make your way up the 7 levels. New online components include a digital progress report and the ability to communicate with your golf instructor.

 
 
The Junior Skills Challenge is a re-designed CN Future Links program that allows you to track your personal progress through a variety of “skills challenges” throughout the season. The program also allows you to see how you stack up against your fellow golfers of similar ages in four different skills challenges. Online, you will be able to track your progression with a personal scorecard, communicate with your golf instructor and more!
 

 

 

 

The Junior Golf League is an organized league for young golfers. The league includes online features that allow you to track your statistics and communicate with your peers as well as your golf instructor.
 

 

 

 

Participating in a Golf Buddy Event will give you the chance to show off what you have learned to your parents or your golf mentors!
 

 

 

 

The Girls’ Club is a golf program designed for girls 7-18 years of age wishing to participate with girls who share the same interests. As a Girls’ Club member, you will develop the necessary skills and the proper attitude to enjoy golf for life. Girls Rule!
 

 

 

 

A fully equipped van staffed by a Canadian Professional Golfers’ Association professional will come out to virtually any location to teach YOU the game!
 

 

 

 

 
The CN Future Links Championships are a series of six regional junior golf championships.
